IM Ginsburg and his cadre of chess experts have worked hard on presenting a thoughtful series of constantly-updated lesson plans for beginners, masters, and everybody in between. This app looks great on iPhones and iPads alike, with smooth animations and a board/set that is never distracting. Ginsburgs commentary radiates the humor and insight so often missing from "chess education" software. Its improved my game and deepened my appreciation of this ancient game by a great deal. I look forward to future updates.
That said, I have two major improvement suggestions:
1. Offline Access: Many of the places I take my wi-fi only iPad dont have wi-fi. I wish I could open the courses Ive bought without having to access the Internet to do so. Id love to see downloaded content made available offline as an option.
2. Customized Course Sorting: The lessons are great, but the way they show up on the course selection page. If the user could sort them based on their own criteria, it would be a lot easier to navigate the "university" intuitively.
Keep up the good work, all involved with Chess U! I look forward to the future.
